Common Conditions We Assess & Treat At The Injury Clinic Include:

Ross, can help with a range of musculoskeletal pain and injuries through sports therapy treatments and injury rehabilitation.

When To Visit Our Sports Injury Clinic

  • Recent Injuries: If you have sustained a sports-related injury or any acute pain, a sports therapist can assess, advise, and provide treatment.
  • Chronic Pain: If you experience ongoing pain from repetitive movements (e.g., tendonitis), a sports therapist can develop a rehabilitation plan to address the underlying issues. Put together a roadmap
for getting you back to movment, fitness and sports.
  • Injury Prevention: For anyone looking to prevent injuries while participating in physical activities and daily life can benefit from a sports therapist's expertise in biomechanics and exercise prescription.
  • Rehabilitation: After surgery or injury, sports therapists can create tailored rehabilitation programmes to aid recovery and restore function.Additionally get you back to fitness too , or sports specific rehab.
  • Postural Issues: If you have developed aches and pains from prolonged sitting or poor posture, a sports therapist can help correct these issues through movement analysis and corrective exercises.
  • Training with Injuries: If you want to continue training while managing a minor injury, a sports therapist can help adapt your training regimen to avoid exacerbating the issue. At Outlaw we are also
qualified personal trainers. While Ross can treat you in the clinic and get you back to function
Paula is a strength and condtitioning coach specialising in the later stages of rehab and sports specfic rehab bridging the gap so many end up in after clinic treatment and sent on their merry way with
    no further plan or help.

When Not to Visit The Injury Clinic

While we can help with a host of
issues, movement and injuries at the
clinic. There are things outwith
our scope or we might not be the best
option untill later stages of your rehab and surgery.
  • Severe or Unexplained Symptoms: If you have severe pain, swelling, or symptoms like tingling or numbness, it’s advisable to consult a GP first to rule out serious conditions.
  • Infections or Illness that are accompanying your injury: If you notice signs of infection (e.g., redness, warmth, fever), see a GP rather than a sports therapist.
  • Neurological Symptoms: Symptoms such as dizziness, blurred vision, or severe headaches should be evaluated by a healthcare professional before seeing a sports therapist. Once your cleared and
have all info we need we can certainly help
  • Acute Medical Emergencies: Conditions requiring immediate medical attention (e.g., fractures, dislocations) should be treated in an emergency setting rather than by a sports therapist. We can help with rehab later on and once your cleared so we can get you back to fitness
  • Non-Musculoskeletal Issues: For non-injury related health concerns (e.g., respiratory issues, internal conditions), a GP or relevant specialist should be consulted first. Again we can offer treatments and rehab after you have got the okay for our types of therapies and services.
